Max Fyfe is a visual artist with an interest in biomorphic architecture. He aspires to become an architectural designer of sustainable architecture. Max has some of his art work on display in various galleries including the Worcester Public Library Art Gallery. Max is a current Junior at MCLA with a double major in Studio Art and Arts Management and a double minor in Art History and Design. He does a number of leadership activities on campus such as a Peer Mentor, Academic Tutor, and Admissions Ambassador. Max plans to go onto graduates school to get his masters in architecture.
MANNIE MCBRIDE

Mannie McBride is a visual artist with interests in watercolor and cartooning. They plan on going to grad school to get their degree in illustration/cartooning. Mannie is a junior with a major in Studio Arts and a minor in English with a concentration in Creative Writing. Mannie is also one of the editors for Spires, the schools literary magazine, and is the VP to their beloved Book Club on campus!
TIFFANY FERREIRA

Tiffany Ferreira is a visual artist that examines the natural world with mixed medias. She shares her individual lens on society and the environment through acrylic painting, drawing, collaging, and more. She has been in the 2022 BAA College Fellowship Show as well as their 2021 show. She has been featured on the MCLA Smart Commons Blog as an artist highlight and on the web gallery. She has held various leadership positions as the Design Chair of Hoosac Hall Advisory Board, and a Resident Area Security Monitor. Currently, Tiffany is a senior at MCLA studying Art and Arts Management with a minor in Art History.
CAITLYN FALZONE

Caitlyn Falzone is a current senior at MCLA. She is a Fine and Performing Arts major with a concentration in Theatre and a minor in Arts Management. She has been apart of multiple theatre productions at MCLA including, The Tempest, Falling and Loving, Palimpsest, Connections: A Festival and the Race 2020. Caitlyn also works for Admissions at MCLA as a Senior Ambassador. Her collective experience at MCLA includes acting, devised theatre, dramaturgy, stage managing and social media management. After graduation, Caitlyn plans on traveling, auditioning and hopefully working with nonprofit theatre companies.
COMFORT ACHEAMPONG

Comfort is currently a junior at MCLA. She is an FPA major with a concentration in Theatre. She has been involved with multiple theatrical productions at MCLA including Falling and Loving, The Race 2020, Topdog/Underdog, Sweet Charity, and Ms. Julie. Her experience includes acting, self-devised theatre, costume construction and prop management. Her interests include reading and singing. After graduation Comfort has ambitions to travel the world working with nonprofit theatre companies.
BRIT M. LUTZ

Brit M. Lutz is an arts manager with a focus in design. She recently graduated from Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts in December 2021. She graduated as an Arts Management major, minoring in Art History. Brit was the Senior Editor of the Sm[ART] Commons blog from January 2020 until December 2021. Before attending MCLA, Brit attended Berkshire Community College where she studied Fine Art and Biology. Her interests include writing, intersectional feminism, arts advocacy, workshop & interior design and being a future BOSS.
Since her graduation, Brit has been working on promoting and building her homemade art supply business.
LISA DONOVAN, PH.D.
Faculty Advisor
Lisa Donovan is a Professor in the Fine and Performing Arts Department at the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts. Previously she was Associate Professor of Education and Director of the Creative Arts in Learning Division at Lesley University. Lisa has broad experience working as an arts educator and administrator in a variety of arts organizations including Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival, Berkshire Opera Company, Barrington Stage Company, University of Massachusetts’ Department of Theater, Boston University’s Theater, Visual Arts and Tanglewood Institutes. She is spearheading several projects that foreground the use of the arts as a strategy for regional change—as the Director of the Creative Compact for Collective Impact project creating a Blueprint for arts education for Berkshire County, Co-Director of the Berkshire Regional Arts Integration Network and Director of the MCLA Institute for Arts and Humanities. She has published widely on arts integration and rural arts education.
